Kentucky may be experiencing some growing pains currently but they are not expected to last for any extended period of time.
There are currently some industries which are of course hard hit by the recession that the entire nation is seeing visited on them, but there are other types of industry which are already experiencing growth and are projected to grow even further in the mnonths and year ahead.

In Kentucky those jobs which are coming on strong, and are already seeing growth are some that are enjoying the same growth in other areas, while some are unique to Kentucky.

Kentucky jobs are projected to grow by more than seventy thousand in the next five to six years. That is certainly what might be termed growing by leaps and bounds.

Which jobs are going to see the greatest growth and the most new jobs created? Among them are some that will surprise you, while others won’t. Incredibly, the management occupations won’t be seeing the same rate of growth that Financial management is going to see according to the projections.

Those jobs which are predicted to grown and enjoy continued health are as follows. The numbers following the year are the number of jobs that are expected to be generated annually.

Management Occupations 2006 – 2016 3,357
General and Operations Managers 2006 – 2016 940
Advertising, Marketing, Promotions, Public Relations 172
2006 – 2016 68
Computer and Information Systems Managers 2006 – 2016 97 Financial Managers 2006 – 2016 170
Industrial Production Managers 2006 – 2016 60
Purchasing Managers 2006 – 2016 22
Nursing, Psychiatric, and Home Health Aides 2006 – 2016 1,103
Office and Administrative Support Occupations 2006 – 2016 8,797
Graphic Designers 2006 – 2016 79
Computer Support Specialists 2006 – 2016 162
Computer and Mathematical Occupations 2006 – 2016 1,172
Child Care Workers 2006 – 2016 804
Water and Liquid Waste Treatment Plant and System Operators 2006 – 2016 77

As you can see, job growth is taking place, has taken place, and will continue over the course of the next few years. Reviewing whats coming, whats going to be in the lead of new jobs and new growth may be one way to find the best career move for you now, rather than to remain in a situation that is less than secure.

Kentucky has a current high unemployment rate, but as with all of the other states, that does tend to fluctuate dependent upon where in the state that you are situated. One area may be experiencing more or less growth at this time than another. Keep looking and stay calm. The situation really is temporary and jobs are out there.

The Kentucky Unemployment website is more or less a one stop shopping center for those who are on unemployment. There have been a few new changes and some new comments come across the website lately that are of interest to those who are filing for unemployment or are currently receiving unemployment in the state of Kentucky.

Kentucky unemployment website is now not only the best place to file for your unemployment, is it the only place that you may file for the extensions that kentucky is offering to those who remain unemployed past their initial benefits claim.

That does not mean that you may not apply in person, but it does mean that you can not apply by telephone for your unemployment extensions in Kentucky. There are multiple other ways, but the most notable and the most recommended will be the Kentucky unemployment website.

With the jobless rate now sitting at more than eleven percent in Kentucky, the office deals far more slowly with applications and other things due to higher traffic.

The Kentucky unemployment websites offers you the means to file for your unmemployment online in the privacy of your home. If you do not have a computer available for your use at home, using one of a familiy members, the local library, or even one which is located at your Kentucky unemployment offices can help you to file for not only your initial claims but also for the extensions.

Directly from the Kentucky Unemployment Office website this statement is taken.

” Information about Extended Benefits (EB).
If you are requesting an Extended Benefits check, you must do so online. These benefits cannot be requested by phone.

In addition to unemployment filing, as well as the mandatory filing for extended benefits checks, the unemployment website for Kentucky offers you Labor market information, along with Veterans services, publications to download for your unemployment knowledge as well as job seeker services and youth services.

There is no charge for any of the services that you will receive on the Kentucky unemployment website, which is located at http://www.oet.ky.gov/des/ui/ui.htm

Being out of a job isn’t a picnic. In fact it’s worrying, upsetting and causes stress that most people don’t want to have to deal with. Being a good worker you naturally assumed that you’d be keeping your job over the course of your career, probably retiring from the same company for which you originally went to work.

You plan your goals and map out your career path, usually not planning for things like a layoff or a business closure to throw a monkey wrench into the works. When unemployment rears it’s head you’re not quite sure what to do to compensate for it.

Filing for unemployment isn’t something anyone is prepared to do. Generally the red tape seems insurmountable and the task isn’t one that you had ever hoped to need to accomplish.

Fortunately its not difficult, merely time consuming in some instances. Given the excessive number of people who are filing for unemplioyment now, the worst place to file for you will be the Unemployment office. Granted the office has many great offerings but you don’t want to be in the lines that are taking place in most unemployment offices around the United States currently.

Your best bet for filing for unemployment will likely be on the Kentucky unemployment website, which is located at https://uiclaims.des.ky.gov/ebenefit/

The same information that would have been asked of you in person or on the telephone will be needed to file online. A wizard type format will ask you questions, which are answered with information from your work history. Social security number, full name, employment dates, employment history and reasons for leaving, as well as your address and that of your employer will be required to fill out the information.

At the completion of the filing on the Kentucky unemployment website you are given a number which tells you that your information was successfully filed and that you’re ready to receive your unemployment checks.

Further methods of filing are by telephone, which will need the same information.
